An exciting opportunity has become available in the Filling Toll Plasma facility at CSL Behring. We are seeking an Afternoon Shift Production Co-ordinator to join our dynamic team at our Broadmeadows site. The purpose of the role is to co-ordinate activities within a production team to manufacture a range of therapeutic products. You will be responsible to direct and oversee the operations of the relevant Manufacturing area, planning and maintaining Quality Management Systems and procedures.
This role will suit an individual that has proven ability to engage and influence key stakeholders. You will also need to be flexible as there will be a requirement to work Saturdays as part of a shared roster.
Reporting to the Production Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Lead trouble shooting of day to day issues
Co-ordinate process development and innovation within the manufacturing plant
Support the relevant manufacturing area during technology transfer, capacity upgrades, process development, process optimisation and process standardisation
Ensure staff under your supervision are appropriately trained to conduct their duties in a GMP compliant manner.
Co-ordinate routine validation and maintenance activities within the Department
Monitor departmental measurements (KPI’s) that support the accomplishment of thedepartment and company’s strategic goals.
Drive continuous improvement activities to enhance quality, process and yieldimprovements for products manufactured within the department
Ensure batch documentation is reviewed within agreed timeline and completed toagreed quality standard.
To be successful
Tertiary qualification in science/engineering or relevant experience
Experience within a pharmaceutical or allied industry involving line management
Demonstrated Subject Matter Expert in a relevant pharmaceutical field
Superior technical skills in Manufacturing and Quality processes and systems
Strong communication and relationship management skills.
Extensive knowledge of cGMP
Strong understanding of quality systems including handling of process deviations, change controls and quality records
