Senior Director, Unify Program Lead
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of I&T Portfolio, Program and Project Management, you will drive CSL’s enterprise ERP program being implemented over the next 3 years. Program Unify is CSL’s modernization, standardization and consolidation ERP program to create a standardized instance of SAP’s ERP solution from 3 disparate environments. You will be a critical part of the overall program leadership and will engage leaders and individuals across business and I&T. In addition to leading this strategic program, you will be active in CSL’s pivot to a product/platform oriented model as well as adoption of SAFe Agile as the methodology for delivery. CSL and its executive leadership team have laid out a plan to achieve significant transformation over the next few years, and we are looking for the right mindset and talent to be a part of our future achievements.
The Role
Program Leadership and Strategy Realization:
Lead the overall program execution of Program Unify, aligning with our strategy goals.
Define and manage program goals, timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure overall successful delivery.
Provide program leadership direction to teams, driving program progress and resolving issues as they arise.
Take accountability and ownership to ensure outcomes are achieved.
Risk Management and Issue Resolution:
Oversee overall program budget, maintaining quarterly financial forecast accuracy.
Proactively address challenges and engage the required individuals to bring forward resolution.
Ensure and follow overall I&T and Enterprise governance processes and procedures.
Resource and Financial Budget Management :
Oversee overall program budget, maintaining quarterly financial forecast accuracy.
Maintain overall internal and external resource allocation visibility and ensure critical roles are staffed to maintain program progression.
Adoption of SAFe Agile:
Lead the adoption of and execution of SAFe agile for Program Unify.
Ensure proper communication, training and ceremony adoption to ensure overall success of framework adoption.
Talent Development:
Hire, develop and retain critical talent to manage the different workstreams of the program.
Ensure proper alignment of skills and individuals across Scrum Master and Release Train Engineer roles are successful met.
Your skills and experience:
Bachelor’s Degree required with preferred focus in Computer Science or related field
15+ years of progressive experience within a technology landscape, focusing on leading complex programs
12+ years of experience as a program manager
10+ years of experience leading ERP programs, specifically across the SAP S/4 environment
8+ years of experience with Agile framework delivery, focus on SAFe framework required within that time period
At least 2 previous experiences in implementing SAP S/4 in a greenfield, brownfield or bluefield approach.
5+ years managing direct reports and being a people leader
5+ years demonstrate experience leading teams leverage cloud solutions
5+ years demonstrated experience delivering programs at a global enterprise scale
5+ years of experience working within life sciences industry
Demonstrated experience managing significant multi-year program budgets
